Walkthrough

  1. 01

    New gym order!

Cheren (Normal) → Roxie (Poison) → Burgh (Bug) → Elesa (Electric, now with Emolga + Flaaffy + Zebstrika) → Clay (Ground) → Skyla (Flying) → Drayden (Dragon) → Marlon (Water).

    • Cheren is your first leader — Patrat / Lillipup / Liepard at Lv. 11–13. Fighting walls him.
    • Roxie's Whirlipede + Koffing (Lv. 16) — Psychic or Ground.
    • Marlon (8th, Humilau City): Carracosta (Lv. 49) / Wailord (Lv. 49) / Jellicent (Lv. 51, Recover + Shadow Ball). Electric/Grass.
  2. 02

Pokéstar Studios + Pokémon World Tournament

Two huge new side-features. PWT lets you fight gym leaders and champions from every region.

    • Pokéstar (Virbank): film mini-movies — pick the right move each turn to satisfy the script.
    • PWT (Driftveil): unlock by progressing — Champion's Tournament has Lance, Steven, Cynthia, Wallace, Alder.
  3. 03

    Hidden Hollow + Habitat List

Catch Hidden Ability Pokémon and check encounter rates per route.

    • Hidden Hollows refresh each in-game day — check for rare HA Pokémon (Eevee in Castelia, Riolu in Floccesy Ranch).
    • Habitat List shows all wild Pokémon for each route — check for completion targets.

Pro tips

  • Pre-National Dex includes Gen 1–5 — much more variety than BW.
  • Difficulty modes (Easy/Normal/Challenge) unlock after beating the game on a second cart.
  • Memory Link with BW gives bonus events.

Post-game

  • Pokémon World Tournament (Driftveil) — fight every champion in series history.
  • Black Tower / White Treehollow — 10-floor challenge runs.
  • Catch all the legendary Pokémon, including Kyurem fusions.
