Walkthrough

Action-RPG, not turn-based exploration
Throw Poké Balls in real time, sneak, dodge wild attacks.
- Crouch in tall grass for back-throws (auto-catch on small Pokémon).
- Throw food (Berries) to distract; throw Pokémon to start a battle.
- Aggressive Pokémon attack you — dodge-roll with B; you faint after 3+ hits.

5 Open-area zones
Obsidian Fieldlands → Crimson Mirelands → Cobalt Coastlands → Coronet Highlands → Alabaster Icelands. Complete research tasks to rank up.
- Each Pokédex entry has 6+ research tasks (catch X, defeat with Fire move, see using move Y, etc.). Stars indicate how complete it is.
- Star Rank from Galaxy Team gates access to higher-level Pokémon (you can catch above rank but they may flee).
- Survey Corps Vendor sells maps showing rare spawns.

Frenzied Noble Pokémon
Each zone has a giant Noble — dodge attacks and pelt them with Balm to calm them down.
- Phase 1: dodge + throw Balm (~10 hits). Phase 2: weakened — battle them with Pokémon (Lv. ~22–55 depending on Noble).
- Order: Kleavor (Bug/Rock) → Lilligant (Grass/Fighting) → Arcanine-Hisui (Fire/Rock) → Electrode-Hisui (Electric/Grass) → Avalugg-Hisui (Ice/Rock).
- Each gives a new Ride Pokémon (Wyrdeer, Ursaluna, Basculegion, Sneasler, Braviary-Hisui).

No gyms
Story progresses by completing research and Noble missions.
- Star Rank requires finishing certain Pokédex entries. Plan to wallop a few Bidoof/Combee for free progress.
- Side quests (Requests) give Grit Items (Effort Levels), recipes, Linking Cords for trade-only evos.
- 05
Climax — Mt. Coronet & Arceus
Beat the post-credits content fully, then catch Arceus in a special encounter.
- Post-credits: complete all 18 type-themed Plate quests for Volo to unlock Arceus.
- Volo final fight: Spiritomb/Roserade/Gengar/Togekiss/Garchomp/Giratina-Origin (Lv. 75). Bring Ice + Fairy.
- Then Arceus encounter — battle it (Lv. 100), catch with Origin Ball.
Pro tips
- Strong Style + Agile Style on every move — change pace mid-battle.
- Alpha Pokémon are oversized + buffed. Catch them carefully or fight first.
- Crafting > shopping — gather materials to make Poké Balls and items.
- Effort Levels replace EVs — boost stats with Grit Items.
Post-game
- Catch all 18 Legendary plates → Arceus encounter.
- Catch all Hisuian forms.
- Pokédex completion grants Shiny Charm.
