Walkthrough

  1. 01

    Bonus: Kanto starter from Sycamore

After beating Viola, Sycamore in Lumiose gives you Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle plus its Mega Stone.

    • Choose based on what your starter lacks: Charmander pairs well with Chespin, Squirtle with Fennekin, Bulbasaur with Froakie.
    • Mega Stones: Venusaurite, Charizardite X (in Y) / Y (in X), Blastoisinite.

  3. 03

    Mega Evolution unlocks vs. Korrina

She gives you Lucarionite and a Lucario. Mega Evolutions need a Key Stone (you have it) + the right Mega Stone.

    • After beating Korrina, return to Tower of Mastery for the Mega Ring.
    • Walk Lumiose at 8–9pm with Mega Ring to find Mega Stones in alleys.
  4. 04

    Lumiose City hub

Largest city in the series. Look up — many side quests are vertical.

    • Lumiose taxis cost 200P each but skip walking. Use the gym (Prism Tower) only after badge 4.
    • Hotel Richissime has a daily errand-running mini-game for big cash.
    • Loto-ID Center: enter daily for free items.
  5. 05

    Team Flare

    Lv. 50–55

Stop them in Geosenge Town. Catch Xerneas (X) or Yveltal (Y) during the climax.

    • Xerneas/Yveltal at Lv. 50 — Master Ball or Timer Ball after status. Save before encounter.
    • Lysandre boss: Mienshao (Lv. 47) → Honchkrow (Lv. 49) → Pyroar (Lv. 49) → Gyarados (Lv. 53, Mega).
