Pallet Town's white-picket calm hides outsized importance — Professor Oak's lab here is the launching point for nearly every Kanto trainer of note, including Red, Blue, and Leaf. The town shares a coastline with Cinnabar Island to the south, and its quiet streets are referenced in trainer lore as the place where the modern Pokémon journey was born.
